Caesar Handa Chief Operating Office

Caesar Handa is the Chief Operations Officer of CareerNation. He is responsible for the implementation of the company’s strategic objectives; setting targets; ensuring the targets are met; marketing the company; providing leadership; ensuring strict adherence to ethics, quality control and timely delivery of quality services to clients in all regions.   
        
Caesar is a highly trained communications professional with several years of training and experience. He holds a bachelors degree in political science and anthropology, and post-graduate degree in communications from University of Nairobi and University of Missouri, Columbia, USA. He has undertaken local and international assignments and helped in initiating programs that have has far reaching effects on the socio-economic and political development in the region.

He is a recipient of the prestigious Hubert Humphrey Award bestowed on him in recognition of his pioneering work in communications and research in the region.  The award allowed him to pursue further training at the University of Missouri, and to work with International organizations in the USA where he gained invaluable training and experience. He has also been awarded a scholarship to pursue training at the University of Cologne, Germany.

Besides his professional assignments, Caesar has been instrumental in the formation of the Basic Rights Campaign, a coalition of NGOs and other organizations that have been in the forefront of fighting for better consultation between the Central Government and the public in the development of policy issues and in the design and implementation of programs especially those geared towards poverty alleviation and gender mainstreaming. The Basic Rights Campaign succeeded in forcing the adoption of the expanded bill of rights within the new draft constitution of Kenya.
