Large Scale Recruiting: Eskom Holdings
Eskom is a vertically integrated operation that generates, transmits and distributes electricity to industrial, mining, commercial, agricultural, redistributors and residential customers, as well as the purchase and sale of electricity from and to Southern African Development Community (SADC) countries. It generates approximately 95% of the electricity used in South Africa.

CareerNation is a major provider of global workforce in support of Eskom’s 21 billion 5 years capacity expansion program. Over the years CareerNation has played a strategic role in identifying skills required for the design, building, refurbishment and running of Eskom’s extensive build program aiming to deliver approximately 40,000 megawatts of new capacity by 2005. This project includes placement of Nuclear Engineers for the anticipated 20,000 megawatts nuclear power.

CareerNation was retained to assist GE Oil & Gas define talent needs and identify top workforce for projects in Angola, Nigeria, and Algeria. CareerNation worked in support of GE’s efforts to diversify its operations to provide infrastructure, industrial and healthcare solutions to emerging African markets.

The Dome is a 7,500sq.m multipurpose entertainment center in the heart of Abuja Nigeria. The center considered the first of its kind in Nigeria and ranks amongst the best in Africa is surrounded by a land of scenic beauty and strategically located in the central business district of Abuja.

The Dome outsourced the entire HR function to CareerNation.
